Liverpool Football Club has released its eagerly anticipated fixture calendar for the 2024-25 season. The Reds are set for a thrilling campaign, with a packed schedule of domestic and European fixtures.

Premier League

Liverpool's Premier League campaign kicks off on August 10th, 2024, with a home match against newly promoted Fulham. The season opener will be a stern test for the Reds, as they seek to begin their title defense with a positive result.

The following week, Liverpool travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace, before hosting Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on August 24th. The month of August concludes with a trip to St Mary's Stadium to take on Southampton on August 31st.

September promises to be a challenging month for Liverpool, as they face a string of tough fixtures. On September 7th, they host reigning European champions Real Madrid at Anfield in the Champions League group stage. The Reds then travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League on September 14th.

The first Merseyside derby of the season takes place on September 28th, with Liverpool hosting Everton at Anfield. The month of September concludes with a trip to Craven Cottage to face newly promoted Fulham on September 30th.

October brings another packed schedule for Liverpool, including a Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield on October 23rd. The month also features Premier League matches against Manchester City (away), Arsenal (home), and Chelsea (away).

November is typically a congested month in the football calendar, and 2024-25 is no exception for Liverpool. The Reds face a Carabao Cup tie, as well as Premier League matches against Newcastle United (home), Tottenham Hotspur (away), and Aston Villa (home).

December promises to be a festive period for Liverpool, with a series of important fixtures. The Reds travel to West Ham United on December 7th, before hosting Manchester United at Anfield on December 14th. The month concludes with a trip to Leicester City on December 21st.

The Premier League resumes on Boxing Day, with Liverpool facing Aston Villa at Villa Park. The Reds then host Arsenal at Anfield on December 29th, before traveling to Villa Park to face Manchester City on January 2nd.

Champions League

Liverpool will be eager to make a deep run in the Champions League in 2024-25. The Reds have been drawn into Group B, alongside Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Benfica.

Liverpool's Champions League campaign begins with a home match against Real Madrid on September 7th. The Reds then travel to Lisbon to face Benfica on September 19th, before hosting Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield on October 23rd.

The month of October also features a trip to Paris to face Paris Saint-Germain on October 30th. Liverpool then host Benfica at Anfield on November 6th, before concluding the group stage with a trip to the Santiago Bernabeu to face Real Madrid on November 27th.

If Liverpool advance to the knockout stages of the Champions League, they will face a two-legged tie against a team from another group. The draw for the knockout stages takes place on December 16th, 2024.

Other Fixtures

In addition to their Premier League and Champions League commitments, Liverpool could also compete in the Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Club World Cup in 2024-25.

The Carabao Cup begins in August, with the final taking place in February. The FA Cup begins in January, with the final taking place in May. The Club World Cup typically takes place in December or January.
