Intensified Firefighting Operations Subdue Blaze in Belém Neighborhood

Firefighters from the Pará Fire Department (CBM-PA) fought relentlessly to contain a fire that engulfed a residential building in the Souza neighborhood of Belém on Tuesday night.

The blaze, which began around 10:30 pm, rapidly spread throughout the property, consuming multiple apartments and leaving several families displaced.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion followed by flames erupting from the building. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters immediately initiated their response, deploying multiple units and personnel to contain the inferno.
