Qualification Process

The qualification process for Euro 2024 began on March 23, 2023, with 53 UEFA member nations participating. The teams were divided into ten groups of five or six teams each, with the top two teams from each group automatically qualifying for the tournament. The remaining three qualification places will be determined through play-offs in March 2024.

Format

The 24 qualified teams will be divided into six groups of four teams each for the group stage. Each team will play three matches within their group, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16.
